The celebration this year was hosted at KV Bacheli.The Programme embarked with the ceremonial flag hoisting at 9 AM.Shri R.K.Tiwari ED NMDC Bacheli and Chairman VMC KV Bacheli hoisted the Flag.This was followed by a cultural programme in the Auditorium of the Vidyalaya.

Strategies to get the Targets:- 1 Making students indulge in oral and written practices of Sanskrit and Sanskrit grammer practice also. 2 Practice of ‘HOTS’ for bright students from the beginning of the session. 3 Time management for preparation and writing the examination. 4 To motivate the students to go through different reference books, study materials etc.

1. Inorere to achive the target of 100% results with quality. The following target is kept towards achieving zero failure. Atleast 10% of the students in class XII (Economics) must have to achieve 90% and above 50% of the students may have to achieve 75%. 2. Under achievers:- 1. Identification of weak students based on class test/Monthly/U.T. examination and find out the causes of weakness (Chapter wise/unit – wise) 2. Individual/ personal imidance as per the identified weak areas and remedial measures to be taken accordingly during holidays/Extra periods. 3. Constant monitoring of the performance of the under achievers and follow up action. 4. A question a day and conduct of frequent class test for 10-15 marks once in a 15 days. 5. Controlling the students who are regularly bunking the classes. 6. Technique of proper presentation of answers/time management and the expected answer (Marking scheme) are to be discussed in the class room. 7. Repeated dorilling of previous year CBSE questions will be undertaken in the month of Nov., Dec., & Jan 2010. 8. Examination related tips, hints and formulae are given in order to attempt the question in a stipulated time. 3. Average/Bright students:- 1. Sunday/Holidays are gang to be utilized to gear up average/bright children. 2. Students are encouraged to learn application oriented/numerical questions. 3. Reported during of challenging questions (Application type and numerical questions given in 2007, 2008 & 2009 markets questions) 4. For bright children- helpful test are to be provided as regards to how to score 90% and above in CBSE Exams. 5. Further reading/ reference books are to be suggested.

They must be motivate to score more marks in UT and Half Terminals. 4. We should make realize them of their small mistakes done in their exam. So that they do not repeat these mistakes in final exam. 5. They must be motivate to solve as many problems given in exercise and some additional problem related to a particular Topic (B) FOR WEAK STUDENT 1. They must be given only limited questions related to chapter so that they can easily remind them. 2. Daily Home work checking should be done. 3. Daily Revision test should be taken in order to understand weather they understand concept or not. 4. They must be Provided with the list of chapter which are easy to learn and carries more weightage inexam. 5. Remidiol classes should arranged regularly for slow learner. 6. They must be motivate d time to time.

Steps taken for achieving the target for Board going classes Weak students and Bright students (10% of the class) were identified. Following steps are to be taken by me for achieving the target of KVS. 1. Weak students to be provided remedial classes as and when required. 2. Study material according to the competencies of the child are to be given. 3. Previous year’s question papers in the concerned class are to be discussed. 4. The Performance of the student will be intimated from time to time to the parents. 5. Regular class test (Monthly) to be conducted through out the year. 6. Slow learners will be given more attention on their difficulties.

(classroom activity) Passages will be edited and get it xeroz later on it will be distributed among students. This activity will be done before 15 days of every exam. 2. To give the students additional questions for practice. 3. To give them unseen stangas to solve within the class. 4. Class test will be taken after every lesson. 5. Weak areas of the students will be dealt and exercises will be given accordingly. 6. Exercises for practice will be done on OHP. 7. Talented students will be referred for difficult questions. 8. Extra class will be arranged for slow leaners.

1. Weekly test will be given. 2. Both Bright and slow learners will maintain separate note books. Other than homework and class work. In this note book bright students will work out two tothree problems per day from HOTS. Slowlearners will be given three to four problems every day based on their needs. Chapters and concepts in which they have confussion will be clairified. 3. Syllabus will be covered by taking special classes will in advance so that a thorough revision work can be done. 4. Slow learners attendance will be monitored & bright. 5. Third and Fourth pre-Board will be conducted at the vidyalaya level. 6. learners will be called during study holidays prior to the examination. 7. CBSE Gues papers will be downloaded and past three years CBSE question papers will be solved by the students. 8. Time management tips, counseling to deduce tension will be done to the students.

26-01-2009 - Scouts & Guide
The scouts and guides have been divided in troops and company in the Patrol system. Training programme and meeting day are going on every Sunday for different Sopan.
The new students, desirous of serving as scouts and guides were given Pravesh Motto Training in the month of July-07?. Investiture ceremony wil be conducted in the month of August, along with other programmes like tree plantation, pulse polio programme awareness etc.
Republic day celebrated Vidyalaya has celebrated Republic day in a grand manner in the vidyalaya premises on 26 of January.The chief guest of the day was shri R K Tiwari, the Chairman, V M C, G M NMDC project.The flag was hoisted and the chief guest addressed the gathering. Cultural programme commenced soon after. Shaheen makes it to Regionals. Shaheen Sidiqui of class VIII participated in Raj Bhasha debate competition held at cluster and regional levels and finally made it to the National level, to be held at Jabalpur.

NEWS FROM ART DEPARTMENT
Several competitions were conducted by N.M.D.C during special occasions, on various topics like communal harmony, environment, vigilance week, national integration, peace etc. Many students have taken part in the competitions and have bagged prizes. Chattisgarh Pollution Control Board has conducted on the spot painting competition on the topic ?Ozone layer conservation? marking the International Ozone Layer Conservation Day. Km Shreya Bhattacharya of class IX-A bagged the first position.
UNEP, Bangkok, Thailand has conducted 16th Inter National Children?s Painting Competition on the topic ?environment? and five students have participated in the same. The results of the competition are awaited.
26-01-2009 - SUPW ACTIVITIES
SUPW activities have been taken up in order to help the students develop self-help skills, activities correlating the knowledge and selecting a vocation in case of need. The class wise list of activities has already been framed and the schedule is being strictly adhered to. Some of the activities are gardening, soft toy making, preparation of soap etc.

Twenty three students of our vidyalaya Had participated in the Math Olympiad Examination conducted by KVS on 2nd September?07. Green Olympiad conducted by TERI (Tata Energy Research Institute)was held and twenty students had participated in the competition.

1. Rahul Lal of class XI science stream was selected for the Foot Ball National Team and also succeeded in getting selected in the most prestigious and coveted S.G.F.I (SCHOOL GAMES FEDERATION OF INDIA).
2. Nisha Koshti of class XI-Arts stream and Shreya Bhattacharya of class IX were selected for the Badminton National Team and also were both awarded the fourth place in Regional Level Competition held in 2006-07.
3. Binika Durgam of class XII Commerce stream was selected in T.T. and was awarded silver medal in Regional Level Competition held in 2006-07.
4. Emanuel Kindo of class XI Science stream was selected for the Athletic National Team. He won the gold medal in long jump and silver medal in high jump. He established a new National Meet Record in long jump by leaping 7.22 metres.
5. Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bacheli stood second in District Level Football Competitions.

NSTSE 2008 which has been conducted by unified council organization.81 students of this Vidyalaya has appeared for this examination on 27 January 2008.
NTSE 2007
NTSE District level Examination was held in Dantewada on 18 November 2007.24 students of this vidyalaya appeared in this Examination.
STSE 2007
Science Talent Search Examination was conducted by Putani Vigyana Chitradurga ,Karnataka state on 22 November 2007.19 student of our Vidyalaya were appeared in that exam in KV Bacheli.



MATHS AND GREEN OLYMPIAD
Twenty three students of our vidyalaya will be participating in the Math Olympiad Examination conducted by KVS on 2nd September?07. Green Olympiad conducted by TERI (Tata Energy Research Institute) will be held shortly and twenty students are participating in the competition.

School gears up for UnitTest-III Unit test-III for the academic session will commence from the 27th of Jan ?08, and the students are busy preparing for the same.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The much awaited co-curricular activities for the academic session 2007-08 have already started in the month of March ?07 and solo-song competition will be held on 17th July as per the set schedule. These competitions help not only in the all round development of the child but also ensure healthy competitive spirit.

Teleconference Teachers of the vidyalaya are attending teleconference conducted by NCERT at Raipur SCERT Centre. It aims at guiding the teachers how to go about with the changed curriculum, in order to tap the maximum potentialities of the students.
08.06.09 - Interviews for part time teachers
